Excellent photos Biz. Looks like a massive turnout which is hardly surprising given the weather. What;s the story with that Mk2 Cortina? The white Elan is same owner since about 1968

The white Elan is same owner since about 1968 Huge turnout - this year's Breakfast Club meets have been the busiest I've seen! Cortina was a winner's parade car for the F2 series in the sixties - if you Google it, you'll find images of Jacky Ickx being driven around in that car at Crystal Palace. That white Elan had gorgeous patina. Knew there'd be a story!

Wow, that's really cool! Be a shame to ever restore it, it looks like it has a million tales to tell.

Is that a Mumford conversion on the Marina? Great pics, thanks for posting them. One day I'll make it to one of these, it's only ten miles away Must be possible to a) remember and b) lose the kids for a day

That's pretty styish for them, then. You often see them with, like bonkers colours such as purple vinyl interiors and that. I like that one, errrm... can you use "classy" in association with a Marina? Trying to work out what it is at the tender mercy of the RAC at the end there. Some flavour of Pontiac?
