;D I had the pleasure of meeting this fine pair. I now have evidence that they not only both exist but they sat near/on my car! I guess there had to be one with me in it too;

It's brilliant to meet like minded car people from all over the globe, I must say you guys have some worrying government rules though by the sounds of things! Come live over here, insurance isn't compulsory and fuel (despite the lack of 104) and Japanese cars are cheaper, as is insurance, if you do decide to get it.

If Mrs JS would move to NZ I'd be there next week, been reading about how cheap J imports are there! Plus having seen The World's Fastest Indian I fancy turning my Royal Enfield into a streamliner and tearing up and down quiet beaches. ;D Can't see me getting away with that here....

Good to see Mr & Mrs Piffle are alive and well! Lilla looks like she’s doing well on the showing off wedding ring thing…… Your car’s looking well-used, nice to see a bit of dirt on it. You should see mine right now

Now that's what I call a honeymoon, good to see you guys catching up. As SL says, Lilla is flashing that ring eh?
Just makes me want to get back to NZ sooner rather than later. ;D
Just quickly off topic, if anybody has a link to their blog spot can they PM me it? I've lost it and want to see where they've been recently... Cheers ;D

tonycc, I get that.. a LOT! The last people I met thought I was going to be a short fat balding man. Part of the joys of meeting car forum people. Thrasher, they both had a few Guiness and after I left, were going back for more, so.. they may very well have! Snoozin, no.. no skid. A wee rev and a wind out but.. currently no WoF because my WoF man isn't due back until the end of Feb so.. I have to mind my manners, I was going to but changed my mind being I was in town. tigran, wellington wouldn't be all that bad... mind you, neither would Auckland, we get people coming all the way down in the Datsun convoy for our National meet in Dunedin (which I can't make this year ) spotted, oh yeah.. it's a daily in every sense of the word, gravel roads, puddles, sideways out of driveways.. you know, that sort of thing. ;D Chris was saying it's different looking under my bonnet than yours being yours are all EFi and mine has two carbs, so other than fueling and vacuum lines, that's it. Fortunately or Un-fortunately, I will be EFi at some stage too, being I don't fancy making a blow through carb-turbo setup when it's easier to utilise factory parts and make an EFi Turbo. It does sound as though they're having a fantastic honeymoon, it's made me more determined to get to the UK at some point too, extra appealing now I've been offered shelter by the fantastic Mr & Mrs ScrapingScrap/Utterpiffle.

It's really cool to see people hooking up with a common interest on the other side of the globe... Make sure you take them up on that offer too, Chris's curry is rather spesh!

That'd be super-cool if ever you do come over, as the Piffle household is really not very far away at all from here. Don't forget PAS too on a C210, so there's extra gubbins. It was odd when I had the C130 Laurel seeing all the fresh air under the bonnet. Ditto Tonycc's comments - old Skylines obviously attract long-haired types

Oh yes, Power Steering! I keep forgetting that exists hahah, the R31 I'm tidying up to put on the road (unfortunately a bit late for the Piffle crew otherwise they could have used it) has it, which.. is very odd, I don't tend to drive many cars with PAS. Chris did say you were about 5 minutes from his place, so.. I guess that would equate to about half a tank of gas in the camper!
