	There's a gear in the speedo that snaps if someone presses the trip reset button while the car is moving. Sometimes I think it just binds up, but either way the speedo is the problem.

	Oki doke. Well I had to take the speedo out to fit some new bulbs and had to take the speedo cable out. Low and behold it has worked since so I am just not going to reset the trip everytime I fill up like I usually do. Just needed a wiggle XD. Cheers btw
