Looking in the 'sales section' at the 41 plymouth Coupe, I wonder why they used a chevy engine and a ford gearbox?

Oh gawd, so he's finally given up trying to sell them and called himself a museum LOL. Hehe! I was gonna post just the same thing! Most of these have been on ebay for like a million years. Maybe that's why they were moving them out of the warehouse at acton when I was over there recently..... come to think of it, that was the same day I went to look at a big ugly pile of rough-running yank-tin......

That wasn't on Horn Lane was it? Went to a boot sale in a warehouse there a while back, not much going on sale-wise, but there were loads of Yank motors in a cordoned off section.... and that website made my eyes bleed

He'll never sell anything at those prices. his eBay ads have calmed down a bit now though at least, there were some corkers. Like calling a Buick Riviera "a very rare Mopar" and the like. Everything had a Hemi in it. Yup, that rare oldsmobile 455 Hemi. The lot.

I've always wondered about this guy, but the 'museum' does actually look interesting, even if it's made up of his failed sales. His 'stock' always makes me smile - I think it's based on the theory that to most people in the UK one American car looks like another - meaning he can sell these less-sought-after lowriders bought on ebay at bargain prices for proper (ie. Impala!) money. It's a shame it didn't seem to work, but the rental and museum angle might be a winner for him. ie: This looks very cool: but being less desirable to those 'in the know' means it sells for considerably less than: I would think that to quite a lot of UK residents, the differences in those two cars doesn't seem that great, so selling the Caddy at Impala prices would be a smart move. I guess he underestimated the UK buyers, but to be honest I've spent plenty of time looking at non-Impala based lowriders on ebay.com thinking exactly the same thing but not having the guts or money to try it. Even if this doesn't work he's still got himself an enviable collection as a result of his efforts!
