1999 (T) Peugeot 406 LX 2.1 (12v) TD Saloon, China Blue.
143K
Taxed until the end of August
MOT until mid June.
It drives ok, stops ok and the interior is pretty clean.
Exterior wise it is no oil painting, it has a rusty offside front wing, no holes but some quite big bubbles (currently one on Ebay for £12 plus £12 postage in the correct colour), plus there are a few scrapes and scratches.
All electrics are working windows, mirrors etc… Aircon is not working.
Pretty good on fuel apparently 40-42 average and 50+ on a run.
Tow bar with twin electrics fitted.
Good tyres all round, (spare needs changing though).
Oil light flickers on and off (believe this is due to a leaking pressure switch).
Slight blow from the rear box, will probably require a repair or replacement (just over £30 on eBay for a new one) for the next MOT.
I am still waiting for the V5 but I do have the green slip, a full receipt will be given and I will forward the V5 on receipt.
If your quick enough there is still a ¼ tank of diesel remaining.
Purchased as a ‘get me to work’ car between selling my SAAB 99 and waiting for its replacement (SAAB C900,now in use). A spring snapped on me after just 50 miles (now replaced)
So it did not fulfill its intended role and is now surplus to requirements.
