Possibly due to lack of sleep, i've decided to paint my chevelle. ;D It needs some body work doing on most panels so it'll need paint and i reckon a colour change may be in order. The interior is white and probably staying that way, so it'll have to go with that and i've got some Super sport stripe stencils coming so....... Suggestions/photoshops etc welcome. Here's what it looks like now. Ta.

With the white interior, I would say a nice deep brown.

Hmmm... defo not yellow with a white interior.
Resale red is just too obvious.
The one you like is Astro Blue and thats about the nicest colour for these. There is a darker/deeper shade called Fathom Blue and that would also look nice but will be very close in scheme to my Sport Fury if/when it ever gets done!
There were a lot of cars about that time done in mossy green shades from all the manufacturers, seems really nice and period to me, but green muscle cars have the LOWEST resale so obviously not popular in todays market! Citrus Green would be my choice. Probably clash a bit with the white interior though.
Blue & white is the dream ticket IMO

I vote gunmetal grey with black bits. See the 'hotwheels' chevelle for reference (at a toy shop near you) Seconded, but with silver stripes. My dad did his Cobra kit in MG X power gunmetal (ish) and its a great colour when you take that gash green off it.

Brilliant. I was 95% decided on the 'astro blue(ish)' [Anorak]no.24 Nordic blue metallic[/anorak]. Now I quite fancy the lime green, brown and maroon too. Cockknobs. Shadow gold 'Melba toast Hunter green'

Cos its a big Convertable i'm feeling perod Golds Ooooff, however don't know if i'd do that (would want to), shadow gold greeny tones are nice too, and blue is a safe alround bet. candy red would be nice too, its too hard!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
