As my RT40 Corona is coming to the end of its restoration ive been on the hunt for a new project & came across this last weekend
Toyota Corolla TE71 Facelift
2 owners, with 46k.
I bought it with an MOT as car was stood for past 2 years in a barn & my plan was to drive it back 250 miles but luckily my mate was in the area to pick it up & did me a similar deal as what it would have cost to go myself and drive it back :-)
The 2T engine runs and sounds healthy :-)
Interior very clean and compared to my last TE71 they do like to rot in the same places.....
Plans?
Well restore to the natural condition..
As this is a faeclift model it differs to the early small light model.
So parts as usual is a bloody mission, but I'm on the hunt...
My previous TE71 Restoration I sourced parts from Malta :-(
I'm already on the hunt for a few bits & bobs...
Here she is:-
And for those who don't remember my previous TE71 Project:-
It now resides in Northenr Ireland with its new Proud Owner since 2011..
