I love a B310. TS Cup Sunny would be on my wish list. Maybe things will change once a few more are on the roads.

Er, thank you. The Cosworth choice was made simple as; I had one (from my previous car) and it fitted. Fitting a Nissan SR20det (which seems to be the turbo swap of choice) in one of these requires changing to a top mount turbo to clear the steering box and consequently with it being LHD, you end up with a very hot turbo siitting right next to the master cylinder. The Cosworth has the turbo on the other side and is physically smaller than the original Nissan lump (and I'm guessing the SR20 too). Ideally, I would have dry-sumped it, but I don't have the budget for that right now. A friend is fab'ing a modified sump for me in the mean time (Cosworth has alloy sump needs a Tig welder which I don't have), and we'll see how that works out in the meantime. Looks wise, ultimately I would like to put it back to the original bamboo beige colour, but fortunately I also like the 'distressed' look until then Oops I forgot that yours is a LHD! And yes those issues exist and can be overcome but as you say, if you had a YB sitting idle then defo the way to go. Keep us posted .. So, long time, made some progress thanks to a good friend who plumbed the fuel system and wired the ECU, it now runs. Still not driven it yet, I have an R180 LSD and CV Joint axles to fit next... Edited to add; yes, I am going to replace the rad tank and mount the clutch reservoir bracket.
