Hi, I'm new here and after a quick look around it looks to be a quite friendly forum.
This is my '94 polo which I purchased in September 2012 for £435 with 56000 on the clock with a folder full of receipts and service history.
It was a bit rough around the edges and the paint has oxidises quite badly which was the first job on the list. After a good 6 hours of cleaning, cutting and polishing it looked a lot better.
After a few months I got around to lowering it 80/60 (according to the manufacturer) which is more like 60/60.
Next up I purchased a set of '85 golf steels (13x5.5) with g60 centre caps.
Trial fit before refurbing them:
Primed:
Finished and wrapped in 175/65 Firestone multihawks:
This is how the car stands at the moment. I have a lot more planned for it but is looking a lot better
