As some of you know, my lady friend Emma has bought a 1990 Peugeot 205 1.0, and we could do with finding an internet forum specifically for 205 owners. I did a little google search but it all seems to be for GTi models.
Although I spend a lot of time on RR, I use Club Polo a hell of a lot for Polo specific info, and something similar for the 205 would be awesome.
Does anyone know any good forums?

Some here might find 205GTiDrivers boring, but it is quite a knowledgeable and informative place to venture for the best part. I don't mean to preach their advice but a Haynes comes in quite handy for many a job with some additional information. I *may* have a spare knocking around. P.S You might see my 205 if you are going down to the Black Boy .

I think I've ignored it at least 3 times this week. Your 205 was one of the reasons Emma fell in love with 205s lol. She saw it at the Midlands breakfast meet back at the beginning of last year. Moat House Thursday?

Damnit, I meant the Moat House!
Maybe the Haynes is steered more towards the GTis (Mine is one with the later revisions to it)!

I'd reccomend 205GTi drivers, too. Despite the title it caters well for all the 205 variants, I found it very useful. The other peugeot forums I tried just seemed somewhat "dead".
I had a 1.1 XL complete with GTi interior and pepperpots for a little while. Tremendous car in many many ways and I loved it to pieces. I would have another 205 in a heartbeat.

As above, 205GTiDrivers. There's plenty of members on there with non-GTi models, and there's an entire section specificially for TU engine models like yours. Haynes manual is pretty good, although worth noting that the TU engine models aren't covered very well in the very early editions and much of the info is in the supplement section at the back. Later editions have plenty of information and cover just about everything, including all the wiring diagrams in the back, although annoyingly, some info was removed from the later versions that was included in the earlier ones (eg BE gearbox stripdown) I had a 1.1 XL complete with GTi interior and pepperpots for a little while. Tremendous car in many many ways and I loved it to pieces. I would have another 205 in a heartbeat. Undernutter - looking at your location and your description of your 205, did you use to work on the Harwell complex out of interest? If so, I remember seeing your old car parked up in the car park

^ Anthony: Yes, I do work there! Engineering apprentice. small world eh? fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/551110_10150922643904798_815272571_n.jpgLittle picture I took some time ago, one of the wagons yours by any chance? Yeah I miss that car I crashed it on the way into work one day, and it was in the car park with no front bumper and a smashed-in front for a coulpe of days. I did the worst crash repair in the history of lump-hammers, and sold it. It went to a fellow RR member If I remember rightly. Believe it still lives on in the Cholsey area.

Small world indeed! Little picture I took some time ago, one of the wagons yours by any chance? All the 205 GTi's that appear in the work car park are normally something to do with me ;D J plate black one is mine, which is currently in pieces finishing off a GTi-6 conversion, and the white one belonged to someone on the 205GTiDrivers forum who I was rebuilding the rear beam for. Got another black one at the moment that I'm daily driving, which is a standard 1.9 GTi on a K plate.
