Don't concern yourself with the price. That's neither here nor there. It'll find its value between the seller and prospective buyers.
That's really rather lovely. The quality of finish on the engine bay and interior really set it off beautifully.

Noticably steep? It's £4250! The (possibly) ONLY Cherry Europe left in the UK, in concours condition for the price of a boring second hand Focus? In my world, this is a 250GTO.

There's not many Cherry's left as it is, so a GTi and in that condition is a very rare thing. I'd love a Cherry of this era as it's the car my parents had when I was born and it ended up doing my family a good service as my Grandad had it afterwards.

I wouldn't be suprised if it's the only Cherry GTi left. I would imagine there are a few Arna GTi's still knocking about in italy, but the Arna was a huge sales flop, so maybe not

Says it's the only one, but I would hazard a guess that there's one or two still lurking somewhere, but who knows?

Even if there are a few more about.... that condition, that spec and that rarity = Good value imo.

How many left says there's actually none left. I added the 'possibly' to take note of the potentially 'hidden' cars. Based on the chances of them being registered as anything other than a Cherry Europe being pretty slim I think we can say that it's a very rare car.

I love that steering wheel. And also that the badgeless grill makes it look like a car that's been deliberately genericised to use in the background of an advert.

I never got the thinking behind the arna ,J styling with italian electrics? Have a few drinks, it still won't make any sense. Wasn't it something to do with getting around import tariffs or limits? Alfa had capacity and Nissan needed to shift tin so they took whatever crappy deal the Italians were offering.

Cherry Europe gti is a rare beat alright. But I'd much rather have a cherry turbo! Mate had a black cherry turbo sh.1t heap back in the day. Thing absolutely flew. Stuffed every RS Turbo in our area.

It must have been modded to hell and back! From what I've read, the Turbo had terrible brakes, dodgy handling, skinny tyres and only 110 bhp, with a huge dose of torque steer every time the little 1.5 came on boost ;D

Yes, I have a Cherry Europe GTi. It needs work but if anyone fancies taking it on it's for sale. Aside from that restored one, I believe it to be the only other example left. Only just over 1000 Europe GTi's were sold so they were never a common car.

But it flew. He bought a black sunny zx coupe after it gave up the ghost! It went well too.
