Offered here is a very tidy '84 635csi - the classic sharknose coupe is an understated, yet classy, combination of dark blue with dark blue leather seats and interior. It runs well, drives impeccably, and most of all, is in excellent condition body-wise.
The MOT ran up in October. To pass again, it needs three tiny patches of welding on the sill-ends, a common enough place and a result of simply not being used enough. The mileage is a very low 61k and has risen very little indeed over the last few years. It also needs a new exhaust manifold gasket for #6 piston. There is a slight blowout because of this.
The electrics are all in working condition, 4x electric windows, on board computer and check control panels etc. It is fitted with the original stereo which is quite sought after in itself.
The wheels are the originals, and the tyres have good tread, although being aged now, may be better replaced if serious mileage is to be undertaken.
There is one corner chrome section of the front bumper starting to bubble through which should be replaced, and the rest is ok. The rear bumper has had a slight bump and is creased in the middle, but not so much as to damage anything.
Overall the car is in excellent shape. The wings are superb and do not need any work done at all. The car would be a good candidate for a concours restoration, with very little needing sorted to bring it to a high standard for shows or a collection. It is also capable of being used regularly and would thrive just as well with minimal work being needed to pass an MOT.
There are ramps available to inspect the car underneath (during normal working hours) if so desired. No test drive on the public road will be permitted as this is an offence, on multiple counts.
