Hi All,
I am thinking of selling my long term MG Midget project as I have no motivation left to complete it. I was wondering if you think I should sell complete (how much would it be worth?) or if I should break for spares?
It has the following:
Solid, rust free shell
Rust free doors, wings and boot lid
New copper brake pipes and braided brake hoses
Rebuilt brake calipers plus new pads
Rebuilt rear brakes including new cylinders, springs and shoes
Rebuilt brake and clutch master cylinders
Rebuilt clutch slave cylinder
New copper fuel pipes
New fuel pump
Rebuilt front suspension, lowered with Peter May kit and poly bushed
Rebuilt stub axles with new kingpins and bearings
New rear springs including bushes and lowering kit
Rebuilt prop shaft with new UJ’s
Dismantled diff and drive shafts, checked, cleaned and replaced all gaskets plus oil change prior to refitting.
Thermostat and water temp sender replaced
All new coolant hoses
All electrics work
New coil
New leads
New dizzy cap, rotor, points and condenser
Electrical oil pressure gauge and voltmeter has been fitted.
MGF seats
New locks with single key
4 brand new tyres with zero miles
Needs
Carbs servicing, fitting and tuning
Could do with new hood (OK but a couple of tears)
Bonnet is a bit poor
O/S headlamp
Re spray
Fuel cap
Probably missed loads but hopefully that should be food for thought. I can post some pics at the weekend if anyone shows an interest.
