Hi folks
Hopefully the technical folk here at RR can help with this!
I have a Mk2 Jag 3.8. One of the rad hoses was leaking so I thought I would do a bit of a refurb on the cooling system - but this has turned into a bit of a challenge as the car is now refusing to start. It will turn over but not fire. I found that the king lead to the coil was a bit of a bodge (screw in fitting one end and push in the other) so I replaced that (and the coil with a screw in terminal type). The car has a luminition ignition on it. I had unplugged the LT lead to the distributor which had three wires (I guess part of the Luminition kit) the wires run through the external plug in the same colour sequence, but I wondered whether it is possible to plug it in the wrong way round?
Any thoughts on what to try next?
cheers
