Noticed that the South Yorkshire Transport Museum were holding a monthly meet where anyone who arrived in a classic vehicle would gain free entry into the museum. So, I pointed the Viceroy down the M1 and headed towards Rotherham. Despite being advertised in Classic Car Weekly the attendance wasn't exactly huge, but being as we'd never been to the museum before we ended up spending a couple of hours in there, perusing the various transport exhibits they had as well the model exhibition they had on too. The walls and display cabinets are literally covered in old advertisements, artwork and models and there's hidden gems throughout the place, the only let down is that, as with a lot of museums, space is limited, so getting photos of the transport exhibits is tricky. Well worth a visit if you're passing by.
