As we did last year, we are once again organising a day trip out to Shelsley Walsh for the Saturday of the Gathering. This is the Saturday of their Championship Challenge meet (formerly the Big One) and is attended by competitors in the MSA British Hill Climb Championship. Its the perfect way to turn your weekend into the ultimate Hill Climb weekender! Those who went last year had an amazing time and this year promises to be even better with a big Aston Martin thing going on there. Tickets will be the same price as last year (about £8.50), and again open only to those who have RRG13 Weekend Tickets. You'll receive an email in due course with details of how to book  |

we are road tripping from Ireland, we might just stay over night near ludlow or shelsley instead driving down too prescott and looping back up or is it only a short distance away???

Awsome idea, walking round the pit was good fun.hopfully the people on the gate are reminded or our presence and ticket colour so we don't have to move his rope fence again. i did apologise for us after and he seemed cool with it : )

If your havent been, don't let the fact its just a practice day put you off, there are still tones of rare, valuable and fast cars giving it death up the hill all day! You will find everything from classic Bentleys, retro specials, custom monsters and race spec moderns as well as everything in between. I went last year before RRG and it was an increadable day out. As an added bonus this year, they are celebrating 100years of Aston Martin so there will be runs and displays by the owners club. It is set on a posh estate about an hour away from the RRG site and a stunning drive in the country too.
