Parts don't seem to be an issue,.. the Datsun community can generally find you anything you need. That having been said I've not needed to find a single part yet ... but I have got myself a spare wing. They are pretty inexpensive to own. There is loads of Datsun parts interchangability it seems. What else? RWD, slightly wallowy suspension (suitable stickage can be applied to fix this (this my nose down stance)), 5 speed rare (the box would be pretty much worth more than the car in most circumstances), springs all round. I love them.. Coolest cheap Datsun.

I'm on my 3rd. And might be selling it soon..... Mechanically they have one of the most common engines available, easy to work on, legendary reliability and quite cheap - at the moment. Most engine bits have a ready availability too. Body parts are out there via exclusive contacts through the DOC and this forum Watch for rust....everywhere basically. Especially rear arches, sills, inner sills, inner front wings etc etc. Worth bagging a solid one if you can find one. 1st ones came with round headlamps, which was replaced by the square headlamp model in 1980. Easy to change too! 2 of mine... And these that have been seen over the last few years.

If I manage to get my finger out and finish modifying mine then expect immediate cult status as the legend of the B310 spreads

what about suspension mods For super 'hit the sticknees'?? They're coils all round, solid axle at the back. Same as the Corolla then? Like most Japanese stuff of the time the wheels sit way too far in. B310 in particular seems to be massively improved by lowering fitting with wheels that have less offset, it brings out their chunky shape nicely.

I love them... my ideal one is a beige wagon, two toned with a copper bottom half, slammed on 14" SSR Mark 1's, smoothed door handles and locks, smoothed tailgate (plate recess), running a CA18DET with 5spd Silvia box.
They seemed to rust more than their equivalent Toyota's (KE70's), at least around NZ anyway!
