I've been on the lookout for some wheels for the B of late and i've happened upon some nice wheels on ebay. They satisfy my criteria, they're 14x6, 4x114.3 pcd and mesh 'bbs' style which is what ive really been looking for. But I'm a bit stumped as to finding out much info about them they are apparently made by a company called BWA who, from a bit of googling, seemed to be an italian outfit making wheels predominantly in 4x98 for alfas and such like. But i cant find any dedicated website for them so i guess they folded a while ago? It just seems odd to me that they'd make a completely different style of wheel (from their other stuff) in 4x114.3 fitment... Also they don't appear to come with centre caps so I'm guessing they are gonna be like poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo to find unless other BBS style mesh wheel centres will fit.. Anyway, I can't seem to find all that much on the web about them, can anyone help? and heres a pic from the ebay ad to show what I'm talking about any help is appreciated!

Not sure what else you want to know.. Centercaps are going to be hard to find, asyou 've already pointed out. I'd say look out for some compomotives but then you would just be copying me ;D

If you're serious about then I'd ask for the diameter of the centre cap and ask some vw/bmw owners for measurments of their caps. I'd measure my e30 BBS wheels but they're buried. Good point from Rich on the ET, don't fwd J cars use that PCD? Nice looking BX by the way Rich.

Too much rust, not enough welding skills.

I was just kinda wondering if anyone knew anything about them at all as there seems to be nothing on the internet at all The offset is looking like its gonna be pretty high so would have to bung some spacers on, was talking with a mate last night and might be able to look in to making some centre caps... Only gonna bother with all that effort if they stay cheap though

With the MGB fitment you are looking at a number of issues with this style of wheel. Looking at the photo I would suggest that the wheel is in the region of et35 so would look a bit lost in the arches . The second problems revolve around the coverplates that these wheels are designed to take. The MGB has quiet a high stubaxle assembly and this is likely to foul on the inside of the cover. This issue could be sorted with spacers which would also correct the offset to fill the arches better. Finally the wheels will require machining on the centrebore to fit.
Good luck with this though as it you will end up with something different from the plethera of minilite clad B that prevail
