	Anyone got any tips for removing engine and box from a lexus LS400 , imean mainly with regards to wiring etc, how hard is it, and is the harness one piece or easily separateable? my google fu has failed me. Maybe there is an online guide or build thread somewhere?

	I'n not sure on the technical details, but it sure sounds like a plan. I've seen a Scimitar being rebuilt with one.

	Theres a guy on another forum i use has put them into at least 6 hilux surfs,
	Laser cutting and cnc punching (up to 3mm stainless and ali, up to 6mm mild steel) Mail me a dxf file and i'll get you a price Metal folding and custom fabrication service also available

	any idea who? I can't seem to find the exact model install for the one i have, looks like USA spec cars are a bit different , and several different versions of the car. Mine has a transponder key for example so there is a key reader unit etc, which all needs to interface to the ECU, which appears to also control the autobox on these. Started pulling the wiring from the car today, theres SO much of it!

	Theres lots and lots of wiring................. but not much of it needs splicing into the original loom. What year ls400 is it? Are you keeping the auto box?

	Ive had a plan to stick one of these in a volvo 240 for a while now. Other projects need to be finished beforehand. Currently trying to convince a mate that this is what we should fit in the 6pot foxbody mustang!! think i'll bookmark this thread for future reference!

	Its a 1997, the ECU etc seem differnet from most around on the net which is quite annoying, it has transponder key immobiliser which just adds to the complication! I have wired Nissan 1.8s , 2.8s and 3.0s into other vehicles successfully just using the nissan schematics but this one is a real head fryer. Yes i will be using the auto box, which is also controlled by the ECU.
