whilst i cant doubt the amount of work that went into it ,i do doubt the looks of the car and to some extent the sanity of the owner in creating a car whose looks are 'challenged' shall we say (look i can be polite sometimes ;D)

OK, I just tried to read through the random brain-dump of a lunatic mind that constitutes his eBay description... I'm still non the wiser!
Like Andy says, technically there looks to be one hell of a lot of work gone into the car. One can only conclude that the creator was more engineer than designer. Jesus wept.

I've just noticed that Ramanboy must live within a mile or two of me and is within the postcode where my mum lives! Help!

Aaaaah, didn't realise it was Raymanboy. That explains a lot about the wording of the description! Poetry?! WTF?!
It's a truly horrific creation though.

I've just noticed that Ramanboy must live within a mile or two of me and is within the postcode where my mum lives! Help! You know what you must do then! Arrange a 'viewing'.. take camera, vid-cam, dictaphone, whatever you need, and covertly (or overtly!) gather evidence of the madness of the man himself. This is your mission. Go! Mega-kudos-points and a pint on me if you can get (a) A clear photo of the man suitable for reproducing on 'official raymanboy fan-club' merchandise (b) A photo of you and him being best mates, think Dave Gorman on this.

Great idea! It would be ideal if it was done official. if i was closer i'd ask him for an interview, and say i'm reseaching rare kit cars or whatever this is meant to be! that way you wont get too much trouble. but if in doubt go look and report back!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

It's not often that I'm upset by a car listing. But this takes the p**s!! I could throw all of the car spares I own off the roof of my house into my front garden and end up with something better looking. And that's a particularly exotic strain of weed that guy is smoking. Fool.

what worries me most about this, is that his chassis number is actaully just the random number on that plate, and the engine number is the engine number on that plate, yet the car is registered as a 1973, so probably on the documents for the toyota, and worst of all, the plat ethat he has got his 'new' chassis and engine numbers from is not related to the car!!!
now I'm pretty sure you cant just change the engine and chassis numbers on your car to be what ever you like, and that this car would never get though the new MOT system because of that!!! its never legal.... is it?

SVA...
When was it built?
I have known cars breeze through the MOT Where the "engine number" is actually the casting numbe rof the intake manifold and the like.

Never mind MOT's and SVA's, I think it needs an NCAP test... ;D
It's amazing that Raymanboy's listing must contain about 1000+ words, yet offers pretty much ZERO info on the car itself. Bizarre.
