Chaps
The missus car has had another issue.
Its a 2001 Pug 307.
Basically the driver seat belt wont pull out.. I thought it might be the pretensioner but on taking it off and somewhat apart it appears its just being tempremental/maybe a spring/piece has come loose?
Anyway I have found a replacement of ebay but will take a few days delivery.
If she does decide to driver her car with the seat belt removed from the car for repair what is the legal side of that?

As others have said, I would imagine your missus would be Barrymored if she were caught with no belt fitted/not wearing a belt. Dig out the bike?!

Legal issues aside why on earth would you let/want her too? The roads are full of idiots these days it really isnt worth the risk.

Ive put the seatbelt back in and locked it into the position to fit her.
It doesnt retract but at least she is safe and legal until the new one arrives.
