I know its not got a hood scoop, but its not this one I saw at the Allstar Nats is it? This Dorset belongs to my mate John.It runs a 318 Mopar with a green painted block and Austin rocker covers and you would be surprised how many "experts" claim it's a rare V8 version. ;D

I remember a car which sounds very like the one you mentioned rolled at the pod and was left rotting by the caravans at the far end of the pits for a while. Shame as it looked like it was a nice car before the accident. That was 2005 and I haven't been to the Pod much if at all in 2006 so I don't know how long it rested there.
Satan's Pawn got banger raced. I think it lasted about 10 seconds before being imobilised and then destroyed. Fenderless rod on the oval... That'll work... Same chap who bangered Satan's Pawn has also bangered a couple of other well known rods/customs from back in the day. Remember a chopped and coupe'd E series Vauxhall Cresta/Velox which was called "Blue Angel" or something? That one went the same way as did a V6 Consul. The guys a bit of a local legend. He's built a lot of rods/customs/bikes.
