Good Condition overall with a few minor jobs needing sorting
Exterior
The Car benefits from a Full Towbar and Electrics Combo which seems in good order although I have never towed anything with this car.
It has 18 inch wheels from a newer version range rover Vogue all in excellent condition no kerb marks at all. Tyres are all have good tread but I believe one may be near legal limit.(Replacement can be provided to fit at a later date.)
The car has electric mirrors which all work but one mirror glass came off whilst I was washing the car a month or so ago and is in the glove box.
The bodywork of the car is also in good condition for the year only things to mention are the very slight rust bubbles in the usual Range Rover places although none have come through the paint yet. And an 3 - 4 inch dent right on the corner on the near side rear wing panel.
There is no structural rust visible underneath the car either on the chassis or sills. Underneath seems in very good condition for a 1996 car let alone a range rover.
Interior
The interior is in very good condition for the year and only thing to mention would be a small split in the drivers side seat. Around 3-4 inches in length. The rear seats are in great condition and fold up and down as they should. Also all seat belts in the front and rear work as they should.
The Carpet in the boot has a few small marks associated with 17 years of use but these may clean off. The front driver and passengers carpet benefit from chunky rubber mats which have protected the carpets well.
The equipment and electronics all seem to work as it should although the cruise control I have not checked. This is for 2 reasons. I have not been on a motorway in this car and I don't know how it works. The labels on the steering wheel controls have worn off.
Front and Rear electric windows all work as they should
Engine and Gearbox
The engine runs very nicely with no knocks, bangs or rattles. It has had many new parts fitted by myself aver the last 6 months and the previous owner before that. New Spark Plugs, HT Leads, Air Flow Meter, Crankshaft Position Sensor, Both Lambda Sensors. It has had a new Air filter and new engine oil recently. I have flushed the gearbox and replaced the transmission fluid including gearbox removal.(Due to Timing disk coming loose from Flywheel)
The brakes were done by the previous owner and the car stops very well. No Squeals.
It has a top of the range Sequential multipoint LPG injection System. This unfortunately is not working. I have been informed by a local LPG Specialist that the fitting of the above engine sensors may be the problem and the system needs a re-tune. He said this is only around £45. I haven't done this because I don't really drive it far so the fuel consumption has never bothered me. And the LPG place is 12 miles in the opposite direction to where I travel every day.
