right iv got a bizzarre whirring coming from the mazda. it seems worst when the power steering is doing its thang. the revs drop when the power steering is going at it (it always has) but now its whirring. its not the lack of revs thats doing it though since it doesnt whirr when i use the clutch to get lower revs.
any suggestions? the cars running fine with no hickups or problems but its annoying me.

right. iv narrowed down the loacation of the cap for the power steering fluid to 1 of 2. anyone know where it is? iv got 2 caps that look exactly the same and the manual isnt very specific as to where it is. ones at the back left (if you look at it from the front of the car) and ones near the first one but nearer the back middle

i assume so since when i use the power steering when moving slowly, every other electric thing on the car seems to struggle. stupid japanese electrics! it does it with everthing. if i wind down the windows the heater fans slow down! gotta love it!

right scratch that. iv found where the power steering fluid cap is *supposed* to be but its not there. i assume that means electric power steering so it doesnt need it? I'm entirely new to this sort of thing so bear with me!
