I was gonna start a new topic for this video and a few others. This is Dick Johnson my favourite race car driver although he is now retired.
This guy is a real legend and showed his talent always even though he had little backing from Ford and was up against the heavily supprted GMH competitors aswell as the other makes. He is still the low budget team now, and nearly couldn't find enough funding to continue his team DJR in the V8 Supercars here. After that crash the car was repaired completely through the entire night, had a large group of supporters looking on through the whole processalong with cameras watching the fet, he went on to win the Bathurst 1000 the next day in that car. Had some real oor luck on a few other occasions like when he was definately gonna have another Bathurst win a spectator(Holden supporter I don't doubt) threw a large boulder onto the car as it flew past near the end putting him out. Personally I think he was better then Brock(no disrespect to him though thats for sure).
Now if only we could somehow figure out how to get our clevo sounding that good.

Yeah I know thankfully track safety has come a very long way since then. Anyone who has seen the way the car ended would have given them no chance of having it ready in a week led alone a night, was awesome.
If I could find a way to video our/co owned XE Falcon(same as in video) I would throw it up, has a 351 Cleveland now 378ci which has a hell of alot of goodies, but has been built for the street. Took three attempts at the exhaust just to get the volume to a sane level.
