As the upper tailgate on my newly aquired Rangey didn't come with a key and doesn't lock with the central locking I thought i'd better look at fixing it before some traveller scum pinches my spare wheel or something.
I bought a CL solenoid for the RR classic taligate off of the bay and need to know how to wire it up.
Can i just take a feed off of the central locking one of the rear doors for the solenoid as i presume that these activate with an electrical pulse from the control unit.
I really wish i was a little better with electrics you know. anything past basic and i struggle a little. probably cos i learned on a mini and they have what, 4 fuses?
