Hi, I've a pair of lights which I suspect may be 1970's Audi.
Perhaps somebody could email me and I'll send them the photo to put up as I can't get it to work
No prizes for the winner apart from smug satisfaction.
Thanks, Bob

Sorry, don't do Photobucket or Facebook hence the request. I'm used to RodsNSods where you use their photo storage.
Cheers, Bob.

Well, even without pic's we may be able to identify them. Have they got any part numbers on them?

I've had a check in the only Hella headlight catalogue (Mini-Catalogue 2000) I have and can't find it in there. What makes you think it's off an Audi?

Sorry, don't do Photobucket or Facebook hence the request. Read the link that EmDee posted above, it's not as difficult as it first seems. Use a site like tinypic.com to host...there's no sign up or anything, click the button, find the picture on your computer, follow the instructions. Done. Without getting some pictures on this thread your chances of your question being answered are way down!

What type of bulb do they take?
The mounting points and the adjuster on the back suggest to me that these are bumper mounted fog lights not headlamps....

The bulbs are the old pre halogen round type with a round base (Lucas 410) Basic lamp glass dimensions, which makes them too big for fog lights, is 280mm across top, 230mm across bottom and 140mm high
The mystery deepens.
Bob.

I'm still thinking VW type 4. I am absolutely sure they did a single headlamp late model and if you look at the plastic surround it looks like the same shape;
