as above i cant find one i have been searching for years i don't car if its a resto a shell a nice clean on the road example anything and how could you find out how many are left as going to howmanyleft.co.uk you would just have to type in escort van and i don't think it would decide what is mk3 4 5 or 6 so that would be hard but struggling to find one anywhere and if i find one i am sure as hell not going to sell it would prefer a bit of a project any ideas has anyone seen one scouring the net ?

i just got my mk3... the dash and wheel does make it feel a lot older and different! put a daily saved search on ebay and one may pop up. thats what i did anyway.

Yeah have been doing lol will maybe go mk4 and swap everything I can to mk3 I want it as an advertising van for my classic car sales business with hand painted graphics can't wait to do it may have to get an old scrapper of a mk3 for dash lights panels etc to convert a mk4 want to sell yours ? Lol

This one just needs a spot of welding.  About 15 years back now the chap who owned the bodyshop next door to where I worked had a stunning Mk3 van which he built, It was a B plate and he painted it Rosso Red, fitted a XR3 engine and interior, set of spot lights on the front and some 7 spoke alloys, All done pucka as if it was built from new like it. I drove it a few times and it really was the dogs dangleys, sadly the engine went and then the body started going south and in the end it ened up sat in his yard for years rusting away, a real shame. |
