My legendary "El Turdo"..
My slightly "weathered" example of BMW's brilliant 318Ti - M42B18 lump (no smoke/rattles/knocks/whines). Plenty of character, can be left anywhere without worry, I have personally put 35k on it and it has been 100% reliable. Drives very well gives mid to high 30's mpg week in and week out, just a bit well used, bit of peeling paint on the front wing/spoiler, rust on the driver's front wing and a patch at the rear of the rear arch. Inner arches etc are spotless. Inside the driver's seat has sagged, giving "gangstar lean" to the left and the headlining is sagging a bit in the back also.
Enough of the negatives, it drives very well, is taxed and MOT'd, Supersprint exhaust tailpipe, will be all green lights up fresh service, just put 4 part worn tyres on it. The rad sprung a leak yesterday, the replacement is nearly new, but, from an M40 engine'd E30, so a little narrower. Works fine though! Parking sensors work as well!
