How much can i knock out of dolly front springs without the sump scraping the ground?
Quite possibley a lewis q!
I want to leave the rears standard for that raked look, or the other school of thought says ultra low all over
Would the problem of the sump being low be slightly offset by the fact the wheels are 2" bigger?

Hmm......down to how masochistic you want to be really I'd say anything up to 2" off the ride height is OK. I've had two that were 1" drop - caught on speedbumps and clanged thing sometimes but acceptable....did write off exhaust downpipes now and then tho ;D Any lower and other bits start catching too - like the sills/subframe/silencers/trailing arms ;D

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Yea the 'too many' looked great but it was actually undriveable RE the wheel centre difference......maybe, but you run the risk of rubbing in the arches and on suspension components - you'll have to get it together and see what fits (as rubbing is an MOT fail)

Ah well that's alright then ;D Never a problem! You can just play with coils anyway and see what works......OEM sets are easy to pick up 2nd hand, could get a set and lop a coil off, test, lop a coil off, test - take a while refitting everything but good way to experiment in spare time I guess

Too many is just right. What he said. It does however partly depend on what you're using it for and how often you fill it with people. You ought to try and get some low profile tyres on the MGF rims to keep the rolling radius near stock as that would help with clearance/rubbing issues.
