Bit of an odd one but seeing as a lot of you must have searched around for hard to find parts at one time or another I thought I would ask here 
My VW Caddy Pickup came from the factory with a 9mm wide matt/satin mottled pin stripe the lenth of the vehicle, VW no longer supply this so I need a source for a replacement
I hear you saying, "oh thats easy" but I have found it not to be the case as the actual material is about 1.5mm thick
There are lots of places out there that can cut and supply me a thinner smooth vinyl BUT as the front wings and doors are the same as the MK1 Golf they have holes in them for trims
so I need a thinker vinyl so that the holes don't show through 
Any leads or ideas to sourcing this stuff would be greatly appreciated
