it came round to spraying the wheels again after managing to kerb one and i thought it was time to splash out on some powder coating
a quick look round the internet and a place in bradford called CAS coatings does them for £1 per inch of wheel... bargain all my wheels done for less than £60
anyways it came to collecting my wheels and i have to say i was no were near satisfied with the finish of the coating. there were chips missing out, part of the rims were not covered, the inside of the dish had very irratic coverage and the holes for the tyre valves were not covered either!
i pointed out the missing coverage on the valve holes and was told that "this doesnt matter" and "if it bothered me i should get touch up paint to tocuh them up"
?
confused i said why do they not touch them up.... i was then told that there is no other way to hang the rims up...... imediatly i came up with a suggestions of placing a band round the middle of the wheels, which they also had not covered, and was told that this would be too time consuming........
so obviously you can see the thcik witted inteligence of people working at this place.
i then noticed the rim was chipped all around and was told that this would not be seen as the tyre covers it??? so you have 43 years of experience powdercoating wheels and have never seen stretch tyres??? What a W***ker
i then stated i wanted my money back as i was not happy with the job at which point i was told to leave the premisis and F off.
moral of the story.. don't pay for anything up front....AND don't GO ANYWERE NEAR CAS POWDERCOATING BRADFORD....
