I want to fit rally lights to my e30, like below. But i don't want to be drilling holes as I'm still unsure on them and don't plan to run them for ever. Can you get spot lights that attach to your grill similar to how a square AA grill badge does?? School me

The E30 grille isn't very strong and its locators are designed to hold the light plastic grille in place. If you got them mounted, you'd need to steady them in some way.

Unsteaded aux lights will be a nightmare. Even a small amount of 'bounce' creates a horrible effect when you're driving - very confusing and actually is worse than driving without the aux lights on.

Agreed. Before I fixed my spot light to the car properly it was like driving with strobes on the front. Not good at all.
