my EFI conversion on the renault 9 is coming to an end . but I will have a slight problem with the standard bonnet as it will only just shut but wont leave any extra space for engine movement etc . and I want to have a custom bonnet made for the job or get the standard one modified accordingly . any photoshop gurus wanna give us some ideas on the bonnet please

You thinking scoop, or bulge? scoop would be a little on the ghey side I reckon plus it lets water in to the plug wells etc . bulge would be much better , I just cant visualize what would look good . for the purpose all it needs is a bulge over the engine area but that might look a little stupid . hard to say without seeing

For ideas, what about a clio (williams/16V i'mnot sure which) style bonnet bulge? This Festa has one, ignore the other barry bits on it.

Better photo of the same, its fairly discreet. If you have another photo of your Renault 9 from a similar angle, i can potatoshop it for you

Here we go. I've smoothed the vents at the back of the bonnet too. Its maybe a little bigger there than it should be , but i think it looks ok.

i actually thought it would look bad at first but this looks really good ,cheers the little vents at the back are only for heater fan anyways and they keep letting water into the bulkhead i am not too keen on them . what sort of a shop/garage would carry out this job ?? any ideas on prices or how difficult of a job this may be ??
