As the name suggests it's just that. As mentioned i'm on the look out for a Renault 5GT Turbo, but after searching some web based insurance co's i can't even get a quote. I thought when you turn 25 it was meant to get easier Who is good for cars with engine mods or is it simply that using the old dog and bone is a better way of getting quotes? Any ideas, coz i'm not buying something if i can't insure it!

i rang loads when i got the firenza ( engine swap , lowered , big alloys etc etc ) and most of the so-called specialists wouldn't touch me with a sh1tty stick cos its got a full cage but i eventually got insured through H.I.C .. cage and all and its pretty cheap but i'm limited to 3k miles a year..
plus the guys i spoke to at h.i.c semmed to be genuinely interested in the car which made a refreshing change..

I used to be insured with Norwich Union & would NEVER use them again. Had a accident, I was 100% not at fault & it took 7 months & dread to think how many hours on the phone, on hold to get it sorted. With Adrian Flux now as they were the only people who would give me a quote for the starlet. Tried HIC when was up for renewal & they wouldn't give me a quote because they're the same company as Adrian Flux
