Great stuff! Some really good suggestions here! Thanks a lot!  I know what I'm probably going to do but it's better not to be too open about these things on a publically accessible forum, is it?!  A combination of a few of the ideas in this thread - plus maybe a few home-grown ones - ought to do the trick. I like that idea garethj! IIRC in the news some time back there was a fella that invented a system that made coloured smoke come out of the exhaust if his car was stolen. He couldn't get it manufactured as the powers that be said it would cause a hazard to other road users. But a smoke bomb going off in the car would defo work! ;D Depending on how malicious you wanted to be you could hook up CS gas canisters...or powdered ebola virus from corrupt Russians... (kidding) I think I'd need more than 5 secs to disarm it though! "Now, where's my ke- FOOOF!"  ;D |

I think a car pouring smoke would definately gain attention VERY quickly! Just one thing though.....does the smoke leave a residue?
My car has a sneaky-beaky built-in security device which I'm not going to divulge but it is quick, easy and damn difficult to overcome.....
