i thought id already put a thread up about this but can't seem to find it  ,anyway heres yet another addition to the family. the story starts about 6/7 years ago when i bought my first d reg capri..iv had quite afew cars upto then but always wanted a capri but for some reason never got one upto then anyway. it was a 1.6 laser in red that i converted to a 2 ltr 205 block pinto lump and lowered it,i loved it and had many happy times in it. 4 years on and i ended up selling her due to needing the money because i was getting married. it was one of the worst things iv ever done and regret soon crept in on both acounts lol..but I'm now the proud owner yet again of a mk3 capri this time a B reg ls,thought it was about time seen as the're getting more and more expensive when i first picked her up      |

she didnt look much but the undersides solid and i like the thought of keeping another one going.the jobs iv started so far are attack the body work lowered her 2" put a set of wheels on her how she now looks     i'll get somemore pics up of the work i've done so far but i'm having problems down loading pics off me camera to the computer |

Cheers Josh thanks mate,the wheels are 7x13 compomotives with 205/60/13's back and 185/60/13's front,when i collected them they where painted gold the day after i got the paint out and hay presto satin black lol.... as for the engine as useualy plans have changed lol..i was going to go with a 2lt pinto 205 block but iv ended up buying and in the middlle of rebuilding a 3.1 essex,so far iv got for it:- burton stage 2 heads kent cam alloy timing gear left to get twin inlet manifold with twin 38's good set of 3 branch+system external oil cooler plus acouple of other bits and bobs,the list never ends lol i'm looking at fitting the engine next winter,i just want to enjoy her over the summer and get acouple of bits for the suspension |

lol thanks for the comments lads,i'm realy pleased with how its going at moment and when the new engine gose in i think that'll be the icing on the cake......mmmmmmmmm cake

i'm not shure where the other pics have gone i'll try and find them and get some more up....anyway once we sorted the cross member out to take manual steering and got the engine in and piped up without too much trouble he's a vid of the first start up just click on the pic to get the vid,i'm not shure any other way to get them up on here    |
