hey all, for sale is my beloved 306 D-Turbo S Phase 1 - I thought i'd post her up here before she ends up at the scrapyard
she's a good old girl, 151,000 on the clock, P/S/H from when I have owned her in the last two years but none before that!
I have had her 2 years and in that time all i've had to do is fit a new radiator and a new alternator belt and tensioner. obviously i've been through consumables such as tyres etc .....
she was serviced when I bought her (oil/air filters - full oil change) and the same again this summer.
she runs sweet as a nut, the turbo works fine and she pulls nicely through the gears. doesn't use any oil, no black smoke issues, good fuel consumption, GTI alloys all round, decent tread on the tyres ( just been done - front tyres are toyo t1r's ) spare wheel and legal tread tyre. central locking works fine. front fogs.
HOWEVER, she does have some issues
Was an MOT failure this week due to subframe mount rust at the front both sides, this will need welding to pass MOT and she also needs two ball-joints at the front.
The passenger window motor does not work (never has for me) and the heater fan doesn't work ..... hot air is coming through but the motor is dead/heater matrix has had it and I never got round to fixing this.
The boot cable has gone so the boot doesn't open.
So yeah, she needs a bit of love but to be honest I think she is a perfect candidate for someone who needs a solid D-Turbo engine or has the time and inclination to break her. I have neither ..... so I thought i'd offer her up on here otherwise it's off to the scrappy - I can get £100 for her there but i'd rather not.
