Decide I can't have all that money tied into a "modern reliable" car.
Decided to Ebay for a grotty old LPG rangie.
Decide to tell missus I bottled out of buying one.
Missus says "we can't afford, you need to sell yours first to get the cash", she is ever so practical bless her.
Decide to prepare advert for Ebay so I can list it on a 3 dayer, to finish day before matt black crusty LPG rangie I fancy, have my eye on that one.
Get "that look" and get told "don't do this week, you might get an interview". If it worked like that, I would never sell it.
Place auction, get one or two questions, and a few watchers.
Decide to get some Ammo as to why.
Insurance on old Rangie £100 cheaper than Octavia.
Fuel cost better on LPG Rangie than on Octavia.
Parts for Rangies cheaper than the Octavia
And the final killer, she hates big cars,
LPG Rangie, 4" shorter than Octavia. Yay for the win.
She didn't even flinch, pull a face, when I mentioned "you know those range rovers I've fancied on LPG", just a nod when I said, they are 4 inches smaller, about 2 inches wider, but a lot taller.
Just need to get the Octie flogged and get a bid in on the Rangie and away to collect if I win.
Seems I may have won her over. Just hope one will go under the top bar of the garden gates. Don't fancy having to get bigger gate posts just because I bought a taller car. I can walk under then with space, at over 6 foot, but a truck at reversing will kick the back higher than if it was level.
