Thanks to James in the past for his help, but my laptop has been re-formatted and I've lost his spreadsheet..anyway,I'm looking to turbo one of my bikes and would appreciate any turbo recommendations. Its a 500 twin with a rev ceiling of 12k rpm. I am anticipating using an S.U carb to feed it. Am i better heading for a blow through or suck through set up? Should I also look at an additional oil pump? Sorry for all the questions. Cheers

blow through for sure, get an HIF44 SU or some bike carbs.
I recon a T25 would supply the required flow at 20psi of boost too.
Run that suka on thinners and petrol FTW!!

Cheers jim. Plan was for a single SU,I've got a 'big book of SU's and their tune up settings' in the shed. What sorta vehicles ran a T25? Ford? Cheers again.

I've got the turbo&manifold from a Rover 820 Vitesse in the garage, I can check the casting marks tomorrow if you want to know the spec of the turbo?

Rovers used T25 MG's like Metro, Maestro etc used T3
Fiesta RS Turbo used a T2

Just back in from garage, got some info off the turbo but don't know if it'll be of any use to you :
On the inlet casting, it says "GARRETT A/R .48M27"
On a tag on the centre bearing housing "S/N XE0517A" "P/N 465199-3S" "C/N PMF 10013"
I also measured the inlets and outlets :
Turbo elbow outlet to exhaust downpipe 56mm diameter Turbo inlet from exhaust manifold 39x50mm with rounded corners Airfilter to turbo inlet 52mm diameter Turbo to plenum chamber 34mm diameter
