Cars always go wrong when its cold don't they.
a couple of weeks ago I noticed by golf was getting a bit " difficult " to get into gear, noticed the cable was stretched and frayed......
As I had to go into hospital I decided to leave it until I was recovered.....que todays mayhem.
A " new " clutch cable suitably sourced I whipped the old one off and stuck the new one on, and guess what, still can't get it into gear......except when the engine isn't running...
Great, so now ( with stitches in my knee ) I'll have to drop the gearbox and see whats going on - hopefully its just the clutch/pressure plate/both......just not at all interested right now !
Oh well, swings and roundabouts, hope to order my coilvers today, so at least it'll be nice and low..
In fact - can someone photoshop this to slammage level please, need something else to think about.
