The cleanest baby benz of them all, and yes I include the W201 (but change the wheels )

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

The old diesel is still going great, just fitted the later clk alloys on it, just hope the wife don't scuff them! Wifey is getting a new car very soon so I will have the merc back I could never sell this one she's without doubt the best most reliable car I've owned,, going to have a few paintwork issues done which will bring it back up to mint condition

The Merc looks a treat especially with the other rims on. The Jag and Merc look lovely together, a treat for the eyes. Luckily for me I have seen your cars in the metal, and as usual they don't disappoint. Nice work with the polish Dan.

Well the old c class has had its first breakdown in five years, had to have a diesel shut off valve done, now she's running superbly again, the wife had to go with out the car for three days and now realises how good this car is she used my e class and hated it!! ... I love the c class too such a lovely quick little car as said before I will never sell this car, it's part of the family!

Ah, so those are CLK alloys? Nice to know, got a set on my 203 and have been wondering the origin of them since it seemed like it wasn't a 203 wheel.

I never thought sorting springs for this would be such a chore!! As soon as I mention 2.5td I can hear the sharp intake of breath down the phone! Had a week off so I've been chasing a set up all week, got one supplier who says they will call me Monday with some news, plenty of eBay suppliers listing them but when I message them they can't confirm fitment for my car On a better note I've got a good friend to take on the small bodywork bits in the next few weeks,so the car should be pristine soon

What is the issue with springs, heavier spring rate for the diesel variant hard to find ?
Also, take the plastic sill trims on and inspect for rust..

H&R part number 29927-1 should do the trick and don't be shy, put some 17/18" OEM (Segin aka S/CL600) alloys on it.
