I know this car,I went with Roy, the owner at the time of the magazine articles, to collect it. Predictably it broke down just minutes after collection! Good to see it still on the road.

cheers mate, i have owned quite a few boxer engine alfas in my time and always found them bullettproof as long as you look after them and service thwm on time. this green alfa had been sitting in a workshop for ten years we put some fuel in it snd got it running and drove it 220 miles south and the only thing needed adjusting was the front brakes as they were sticking people say alfas are unreliable but i wonder how many cars would have done that journey with no hassle.

I can't remember, we had that many Alfas. I'll ask him. I recognize the other one too, I think I may have gone to collect that from somewhere with another mate, known as 'Alfa Paul'. Who is the last owner of the green one?

It was a top cast in its time. Even back then a 'sud was quite rare, driving round London people would just approach it at tragic lights and start asking questions, back then it was supercharged, so that made it even more unusual.

Who is the last owner of the green one? The purple sud of my brothers was bought off a guy in london for 3400 and it had a 16valve 1.7 injection engine but he now has put carbs on it and his car had preiviously been sitting in a garage for over ten years as well , I think that has helped preserve both cars.
