Looks like this will be dragging me to the RR show in August and as well as making it less vertical and giving it some reverse rims I think I should give it some fresh paint to stop it looking like a beaten up rat ride. My Mrs is thinking a straight turquoise for it, what do you guys think? I want to keep it looking so J, it craps Hello Kitty's.

If IRC they did a turquoise one on (god forbid) Pimp My Ride, and i personaly don't think it looked that clever.

After much hunting and having to endure 20 mins of that trash, I've found the one you're on about. Eewww. To be fair, the turquoise base coat looked ok until they started to put the blues and the flames over it. I cant see me needing dog bowls sunk into the floor pan either. ;D

Do something that would look very period 80s Japan - something like twotone, top beige, bottom white.

I sold a much older one a while back that was Maroon over gold with gold wheels. I know what youre thinking but it worked, or would have done had it not been a rotten old heap.

Potential! I like the all in one front light layout and the big sky lights. perfect show-stopper---over.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I love the gimp mask on that one above. Didn't know you could get S&M accessories for those things.

Mike that = funniest thing since like tuesday! seriously, lmaorotflmaololftwbbq also, btt, i was also thinking super-duper J cartoon figures on sides. hello-kitty's are class, especially over pastel baby blue. ever played NFSU1? there is a mental civic with hello kitty's go mean on it, blood and stuff, very, very cool

Royal lounge for the win!! I'm looking to buy one shortly for my "family hols" round europe later in the year. keep us posted on your progress as I'll be very interested to know what to look for when it comes time to buy My advice (which isn't always 100% accurate) would be to go bigger and get a HiAce, or play it safe (and spend less) on a UK spec Space Cruiser. I loved my old TownAce...it was great to drive (albeit a tad slow) and VERY versatile, but you can't ignore their gasket problems. On the 'Bay as we speak the blown gasket count (BGC index) is 1 in 6 but I've seen the BGC nearer the reverse of that (1 in 6 NOT blown!) before!

I know what you mean but like anything that suffers HGF regular, people always find a way round it! I worked on these 6 days a week for 3 years so I have a bit of a head start and wouldn't find it the end of the world if it did suffer HGF. I'd rather that than the other 2CT engine problem - loosing the crank pulley nut and wrecking the crank. Mine will be getting a few cooling mods as I like it better than the Space Cruiser I had and this will knock 40 mpg and will run on chip fat if I don't mind it smelling like a mobile BBQ. I've heard others say these are slow but I'm happy with this one, it will happily sit at 80mph. The only thing I don't like is it's dislike of sidewinds. I'm hoping a heavy downward blow with the lowering stick and some new shocks will improve matters though. I only paid £280 for it with T&T for 4 months which I didn't think bad for a royal lounge and I must say I'm really happy with it. Must say I'm living some of the ideas popping up though! ;D
