Here you have "Myrtle" a 1956 Ford Anglia 100E with coveted 3 Bar Grille. Still on her Original Number Plate, which has been valued quite highly by Registration plate traders. Chrome is in Excellent condition. The car belongs to my wife and is her baby. Bought for her as a gift some years ago. We also have an imported ex-German Fire tender, 1963 Ford Taunus Transit van with 1800cc Zetec engine that will be for sale. Both cars being sold to make space in the garage and to finance the purchase of an early 60's Chevy C10 Pickup Truck to tow our Teardrop caravan with, to shows etc. The car is in good original condition. Starts, stops, drives as expected. Head lights, Brake lights, indicators, hooter, handbrake, windscreen wipers, all work. It still has the original rubber mat as well, we were going to add carpets, then realized originality was preferred. Being a Pre-1960 car, she no longer needs a MOT test to be done and also benefits from FREE Road tax and low classic insurance rates. I have made two short YouTube video clips, linked below, to help you decide if you want to come take a look and start kicking tyres. A mug of tea, some biccies and the attention of 3 cats are also on offer. More photos available by request, but I recommend an inspection in person. Probably and ideal starter classic, or good base for something more impressive. The car has been extensively Waxoyled into every nook and cranny, with excess wiped away on flat paint surfaces. Being 57 years old, she has some small scars, and a bit of rust in the C-Pillar, see Video. Contact us to arrange a viewing should you be interested in buying this car at the price advertised. Alternately, contact us for more info. Please do go look at Ebay, and various forums and for sale sites to get an idea of the value of these little cars. This car is far from perfect, but a very good example of a Ford Anglia 100E Myrtle is currently SORN'd as she is a summer girl. YOUTUBE LINKS BELOW. Please PM me for details, or comments.
Some photos. Happy owner. That 3 bar grille and registration number. Nice rear !! No Airbags...... Engine bay. Boot.... Clean. Out to play...... (1963 Taunus Transit Bus for sale as well with 1800cc Zetec motivation) Any further questions, please PM me.

Good luck mate, I reckon you might get shut quicker advertising on ebay (classified) and in classic car weekly etc. Also get to as many local shows as you can with a for sale sign in the window. I wouldn't take much less than that for it though, very good value for such a clean car.

Thanks Steve, Matt.
Took the Transit up to the farm today and had Jon record a few clips so that I can add them to the For Sale thread.
Had some good laughs.
This is my favourite clip I suspect.
Another clip, just in the cab on the way home.
This thing is happy to run at 20mph in third and then just goes if you accelerate.
Then another couple of passes on the farm.
Last one..... Happy finish.

Having seen both the anglia and the bus, They are both great condition, and the talented grizz certainly makes a good brew Thanks mate, you are generous. I was just going to ping the YouTube links to your iPad. Suspect you saw them and grinned at the madness of playing up on the farm. Hows your biltong getting on ?

Hi there, basically, I suffer from a rare foot fungus that can only be rectified by touching the steering wheel of an anglia 6 times a day for 7 months. Sadly with with work being the way it is, I'm afraid my absolute budget for this treatment is £2000. If you'd be so kind to let it sell for that, I'd be forever grateful! It's a win win, you sell your car and I get a cup of tea and a normal foot once again. Let me know if you want to have a deal, I can collect this weekend and live happily ever after. My contact number should you not be so offended by my hideous offer and decide to call is 07823331443. If only money grew on trees like this fungus grows on my tootsies, I'd offer you more money but a mere peasant such as myself simply can't afford it.

Hi there, basically, I suffer from a rare foot fungus that can only be rectified by touching the steering wheel of an anglia 6 times a day for 7 months Easiest option for ridding yourself of this affliction - just buy an anglia steering wheel. You get cured without having a car in the way and Rian gets a proper offer

Rian, get them both on www.carandclassic.co.uk I'm sure you will get close to your asking prices through an ad on there , good luck BTW did that guy make contact off VZi Hi Ernie, Some guy on VZi wanted to trade for a 51 plate Celica..... ermmm? No Thank you. Myrtle is on Carandclassic. I need to make a couple of more complete clips for the bus before putting it up on there. Had about 5 enquiries, including just info on them, had a guy and his brother here from Essex the weekend, they had seen two cars last weekend based on the ads, and when they got there the cars were not at all what had been described. I asked them about Myrtles ad, and they said it was absolutely spot on, and maybe even better than described, which is what I like. Here is the Carandclassic ad. www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C366290Cheers.

Is the bus next? ABSOLUTELY...... It has been available for a few weeks, just not written up a formal ad for it. Hoping to get an early 60's Chevy C10 Short Fleetside truck. This is out of my league, but would love something like this. Something like this would be cool too, but I do not really want a Stepside. BUT I GUESS THIS IS WHAT I WILL END UP WITH. Now just to find a good new home for a Zetec powered Transit van. Know anybody ?

If my numbers come up this evening I will be calling put it that way, after many years around T2 VW's I'd rather roll in your Bus than another VW. The Yankie pick up will be a great motor whichever you end up with, are you going for a project/mild resto or something rolling? Looking at the truck in the forth photo I can see a 'Grizz'esque' build creating something like that for sure. ;D
