Maybe the trick next time will be to choose a lower size/quality to start with But I thought I could keep all the data in decent resolution and then just make a comressed poorer qiuality for Web use Yeah spot on, its nice to record in the best quality you can afford to, like if you have enough space to record it and all your photos on a trip etc. and keep the original for your own pleasure. see how you get on with movie maker. the size can be smaller too as if its only opening small on you tube etc, not sure if big ones are poss on google video. HTH Mucking about with formats is the painful bit sometimes.

Reanimation you are a star ;D Had a play around with Movie Maker last night, added a Title, some stills of PIGs car that fade in and out and then fade into the video ;D Saved it and its down to like 3.5 - 4 meg ;D ;D Just got to find a workstation with both a USB port and Web access to upload it now ;D Cheers Dom
