1998 Astra GLS with the later 1.7 Isuzu turbo diesel engine (solid engine and easily tuned for more power)
Mileage - 126,000
MOT - May 8th, 2013
Tax - April 30th, 2013
Usual GLS spec. leather steering wheel, electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors, sunroof, colour coded bits, alloys.
since I have owned it I have replaced;
Altenator
Glow plugs
And a couple of tyres
Previous owner(s) replaced;
- Serviced it (engine oil + filter, fuel filter, air filter)
- New alternator belt
- New wiper blades
- Battery
- Water pump
- Rear brake pipes
- And various other bits n pieces
Also comes with some history/bills.
Starts fine even on the coldest mornings and drives good for and old thing.
Turbo comes in nicely at 2k rpm with no excessive smoke.
Not used a drop of coolant or oil since I bought it a month ago and i've done around 1k miles.
Also I gather these run ok on veg oil too
