Hi guys,
Stumbled across this forum and I think it is fantastic! Some really classic cars and full of the project which are my favourite things to read about.
Anyway, I have recently purchased a 1992 BMW 325 SEi (Manual) and it has a really interesting history which I wanted to share but in comparison to some of the other cars in readers rides, it is far too new!
So my question is - Anyone interested in seeing it, even if it is recent?
Cheers
Max

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

dude...you have to remember that your car is 15 years old. in todays world of everything being disposable i think it is definately retro. I think it also depends on your age. retro to a 30 year odl is going to mean something else to a 50 year old because the 50 year old will have memories and hark back to a different decade of cars than a 30 year old might. personally early 90's late 80's is retro to me becasue i was a nipper in the back of cars in the 80's and early 90's. in other words i thinks its a personal thing - some people will agree some wont.
get some pics on though - i like the 6 cyl BMW's

Ok chaps, I'll bow to public demand and stick a post up in Readers Rides.
It is an E36 model, the best shape IMO.
Thanks for the welcome!

Hmmm, I'm not sure about this one.
An E30 would definitely be Retro, but an E36 seems a bit new to me.

its a bit new granted specially being a new model, and TBH makes me feel a bit old, but check it out its an asset to the RR RR pages.

I think we're into a very grey area here - if an E36 is 'retro', then we've just opened the doors to every 90s heap of curse word.
But my views may be coloured by my hatred of E36s.....

Welcome to the forum Swedishmax I love e36 BMWs. I think that a) they're retro, and b) they're cool. I'd love to see one slammed, in satin black. I'm off to check out your ride in the Readers Ride section now!

Went past a mint L-reg 328 Coupe on the way home tonight, silver, really nice original alloys, for some reason it reminded me a lot of the 635 without looking like it. When cars start reminding me of their dads I always think they`ve crossed over into retro-ness.
