Hey, Just got myself a 1980 Dolomite Sprint.  Love the car, bit different to my 1.6 Focus! It's got a gas flowed engine, spax shocks and a new exhaust system. Can't wait to pick it up!    |

I'll keep the stock twin SU's for now me thinks. Definitly going to the retro rides show now. And yes that is a ring sticker you see on the bonnet, it's been round before with a previous owner. I want to do it too! |

ORSUM! I really want one of these now since drive a 1980 1850HL auto back from Bristol last Sunday. It was so relaxing to drive, smooth torquey engine with light and positive steering. The throttle cable snapped on the A1M just past Sevenage, so I rigged up an elaborate system of cable ties and drove the last 10 or so miles to Sandy with a hand throttle out the window ;D I brought it back with my GF's uncle who is going to strip it and use it to re-shell his Sprint |
