As you appear to know even more useless curse word about Alfas than I do.....
A couple of questions.
1. Any idea if a new GTV steering wheel will fit a 75?
2. How hard is it to fit 156 front seats in a 75?
There's someone on ebay selling a load of GTV and 156 interior bits with no bids, and he's just down the road from me, so it would be rude not to.....

Well, they may be difficult to fit in a Dolly, but I know a lot of post-Fiat takeover stuff is pretty much swappable.
Yes, I know the 75 was the last pre-Fiat car, but some Fiat bits slipped into the phase II models.
I still think the answer is to have new foam in my driver's seat - but a pair of fronts and rear seats for 70 quid with a 'make me an offer' button on the bay is almost too good to resist.

your right, it would be rude not to I think it would be a bit of a mair trying to fit 156 seats to your 75 - if you want to get a more comfortable driving position, I have a fix for that (gets rid of the legendary foot & leg ache). with all the 156 airbags etc..... they will probably weigh a lot more, & I suspect the 156 seats are wider than the 75 items. best bet is to find some 75LE recaros (like poor quality wobbly children's play pony sh12), but if you find a knackered set on the cheap, I know where to get the recaro matching material to have them or a section re-covered. as for the steering wheel - not sure, but I would doubt it, (if only because that will have an airbag that looks horrible. I fitted a woodrim wheel off a 155 - doesnt fit directly, but you can easily mod the 75 steering wheel boss to take the nardi / momo stud pattern (which this had)

I did think about the bags - I'd actually been looking for a set without airbags, but a set with them came up..... our 156 doesn't have airbags in the seats.
Not entirely sure it would be safe to remove the bags either.
As for the wheel - I actually have a decent leather wheel to replace my sticky one in the garage - but I fancied the 156 style wooden wheel, 'cos it's smaller - the one I was looking at has had the airbag removed, but still has the centre-push for the horn with it.
Looks like I'm having my seats sorted with new foam, then.
Any recommendations for a new headlining? - I'm kind of thinking grey alcantara at the moment.
